Donations via Credit Card or Paypal account

If you want to make a donation through Credit Card or your Paypal account you can click on the button here on the right side, which will enable you to securely access the on-line payment system, even if you do not have a Paypal account. You donations will be directly credited in the Association’s bank account, net from a management fee to Paypal equal to 1.80% of the total amount of your donation + 0.35 € for each donation.

Cash donations

Please notice that we do not encourage cash donations, as we prefer donations via bank transfer or credit card, for transaction transparency purposes and fiscal reasons: be indeed reminded that, according to the Italian tax law, cash donations are not fiscally deductable, even if a receipt is issued.

If you are still willing to make a cash donation, please contact us to receive our directions about the person who will be officially delegated to collect your donation and issue a regular receipt for it. Please be informed that all individuals collecting cash donations for “One day Sofia…” have been specifically delegated by the Board of Directors, and they will always welcome your request to show you a copy of the Board Resolution for your verification.

Please DO NOT make any cash donations to anyone refusing you to a) show you that they have been specifically delegated for cash collection by “One day Sofia…” and b) issue you a proper receipt in the name of “One day Sofia…” specifying the date of the cash collection, your name and the amount you donated.

Important notice

“One day Sofia… Ricerca senza confini per la cura della Sindrome di Rett (Onlus)” has been established as a no-profit association through a public notary deed on 28.10.2014 and obtained formal recognition in the Italian National Registry on Non-Lucrative Organizations with Social Utility Aims (Onlus) on 01.12.2014.

All free donations made in favor of Non-Lucrative Organizations with Social Utility Aims (Onlus) will be deductible from individual or corporate revenues subject to IRPEF and IRES taxation, respectively, as per the Italian Tax Legislation, within a limit of 10% of the stated revenues or not more than 70,000 Euro per fiscal year (the lowest of the two limits), as per Legislative Decree no. 35/2005 and later modifications.
