Who is Alberto
Alberto Cecchini (1962), graduated in Civil Engineering at Rome La Sapienza University in 1988, with subsequent Master Degree in Project Management in the construction sector. He is currently General Manager and Technical Director of a primary italian engineering consultancy firm active in Italy and internationally in the field of design of large infrastructures and complex processes of land development.
Since 1994 Alberto is a member of Rotary Club Golfo d’Anzio, Anzio-Nettuno, Italy. Within Rotary, international service association, he has covered the role of Governor for District 2080 (Lazio-Sardegna) and subsequently has undertaken numerous tasks at interrnational level among which the coordination of fundraising and promotion of the Polioplus campaign for the eradication of poliomielitis for Italy, Spain and Portugal. For the same area since 2012 he is Coordinator for the Public Image. He has been speaker and moderator of numerous seminars at international level. IN 2014 he has received he prestigious international prize “Rotary Service Above Self Award”. He furthermore participated in several vaccination campaigns in India and humanitarian missions in Africa.
Alberto is a member of the Board of Directors of “One day Sofia…” and he is specifically delegated to the association’s identity, communication strategies and events management along with the management of the relationships with major donors.
